Lost Lander is awesome. I saw them at Musicfest Northwest, and Brent Knopf is part of the band (he’s the producer), but he PLAYED WITH THE BAND when I saw them.
I may have fangirled so hard I could barely contain myself. This song is so great. I’m contemplating going to the show in the 9th at the Sunset Tavern, because I liked them so much, and almost couldn’t focus because I was so infatuated with Brent’s beauty.
Okay I’m done now.
Lost Lander in Bellingham. Love this band.
VEDA 3: Get Ready With Me.
And if you don’t even like makeup, just turn it on to hear the awesome Lost Lander song playing in the background. Hahahaha.
Still one of my favourite videos ever. I love Lost Lander.
I LOVE LOST LANDER. Adrian, you should reblog this.
“Until You Die” by Lost Lander // B-Side from DRRT Sessions (2012)
Last year, Lost Lander released one of my favorite songs of the year with “Cold Feet”. The full length that followed was a great collection of lush, atmospheric indie rock that didn’t get anywhere near the respect that it deserves. Recently the Portland group debuted an unreleased track from those sessions through Filter Magazine, the ghostly folk ballad with a sentiment so intense (“I’ll love you till you die”) that it might come off creepy in the wrong hands, but not here. It’s a haunting beauty that further reinforces just how good Lost Lander is at creating great rock records with a special something extra. This song is highly recommended for fans of Menomena, Lord Huron, and The Antlers.

And yeah I realize that Speak Up wasn’t technically on Pop Etc self-titled, but it came out this year and I love it.
