Spoon was SO GOOD last night. Incredibly glad that I got to see them at least once on their two-night stop in Seattle. The second night belonged to Chris Hardwick, and I’ll get my crappy coolpix picture of that up soon. He’s so freaking cool. And nerdy. And adorable. And I’ll tell you more about it when I haven’t been running on 4 hours of sleep and I’ve been up for…21 hours.

Holy freaking crap Bright Futures were amazing tonight. I’m only uploading one photo for now because I’m quite sleepy after the giant sweaty dance party that was Neumo’s tonight. I mean, shit.
I love this picture. My ISO kept getting out of whack so a lot of my photos turned out really dark because for some reason I accidentally clicked my ISO back to 200 instead of 1600. Oh well. I got a bunch anyway. Luke is such a fox. I’m not gonna lie.

I kinda wanted to see Brite Futures too, but they didn’t go on until 7:40, when we had to be line for The Temper Trap.

Tomorrow will be such a nostalgic trip. Adrian, Kelli, and I will be at Neumos seeing that adorable man (Aaron Pfenning) open for Tanlines. I just wish instead of Tanlines, it was We Are Scientists. And I wish we hadn’t lost this girl’s phone number after that night, because she was really fun.
As sad as I am about missing Bumbershoot this weekend…
I AM RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED FOR MUSICFEST NORTHWEST. JEEZ I LOVE PORTLAND.
Seriously, I think I like MFNW more than Bumbershoot. Honestly. It’s more exciting because you literally have to drive all around Portland to get to the shows you want to go to. It’s more intense, and less crowded, and you don’t have to eat festival food (not that I don’t like festival food, but it’s exPENsive).
Any of you going to the Fest? I’m sure it will be way more laid back this year because I won’t be editing through Bumbershoot stuff the whole time.
I WANT TO SEE PEOPLE IN PORTLAND. COME HANG OUT WITH ME AND GO TO FOODIE RESTAURANTS AND THE KENNEDY SCHOOL AND VOODOO DOUGHNUTS. Also, I want to finally going to Forest Park. Never been and it’s blasphemous.
Frightened Rabbit is finally coming back to Seattle next month, and I am so ridiculously excited to finally meet them because my friend Susie is like besties with them.
