Okay, so I thought Bumbershoot couldn’t get any better, right?
Well, WAS still isn’t there, so it doesn’t have the maximum level of awesome, but this just made my day.
The comedy lineup this year is going to be off the chain (and yes, I just said “off the chain”).
So you don’t have to actually go the Bumbershoot website, here are the comedians who especially tickle my funny bone (that sounds dirty).
PATTON MOTHEREFFING OSWALT (it’s like he never leaves. Seriously, he was at Bumbershoot last year and Sasquatch a month ago. I’m fine with it though, because no other comedian makes me laugh harder. Not even Demetri Martin.)
CHRIS MOTHEREFFING HARDWICK (I told him via Twitter to come to Bumbershoot! Maybe he paid attention, right?)

GARFUNKEL AND FRAKKING OATES (since I did happen to miss them at Sasquatch)

I get to see these guys AGAIN this weekend. I think The Thermals and Surfer Blood may be the only repeat from Bumbershoot.
Wait, and Ra Ra Riot and Laura Veirs. And the Decemberists, but I didn’t even get to shoot the Decemberists. UGH I’m so excited. And I’m surprisingly not tired. Bumbershoot high anyone? This better last all the way through Musicfest Northwest. And as much as I LOVED the 70-200mm, it’ll be the relief to know that I’ll be inside buildings most of this next week. No rain, and my nice light lil’ 50mm.
